# 666clouds Japan SoftBank VPS Complete Guide

## What Is the Japan SoftBank VPS?

666clouds' Japan location runs on SoftBank lines, offering two product types: native SoftBank lines supporting TikTok and ChatGPT, and "Unicom-optimized" lines tuned for mainland China Unicom users (native IP not guaranteed, BBR not installed by default — manual installation required). Four tiers from ¥48/mo.

> ⚠️ The Unicom-optimized series does not install BBR by default — be sure to install it manually for expected network quality.

## Key Features

- Native SoftBank line: supports TikTok/ChatGPT
- Unicom-optimized line: tuned for mainland China Unicom users
- Gigabit port (Unicom-optimized series)
- Test IPs: SoftBank 123.108.70.1 / Unicom-optimized 104.234.155.1

## Plan Overview

| Plan | CPU | RAM | Bandwidth | Traffic | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SoftBank - Unicom Preferred | 1 core | 1GB | 1000Mbps | 1TB | ¥48 |
| SoftBank Standard | 1 core | 1GB | 500Mbps | 1TB | ¥55 |
| SoftBank High Traffic - Unicom Boost | 1 core | 1GB | 1000Mbps | 2TB | ¥80 |
| SoftBank 4C4G | 4 cores | 4GB | 500Mbps | 2TB | ¥200 |

The Unicom Preferred at ¥48/mo is the cheapest with a gigabit port; the Standard at ¥55/mo is the native SoftBank line supporting TikTok/ChatGPT but with bandwidth reduced to 500Mbps.

## Use Cases

### Lowest price for Unicom users

Choose the ¥48/mo Unicom Preferred — gigabit port + Unicom optimization, but requires manual BBR installation and native IP is not guaranteed.

### Pure TikTok/ChatGPT outbound use

Choose the ¥55/mo Standard — native SoftBank line with no domestic acceleration, better suited for pure overseas apps.

### Unicom users with heavy traffic

Choose the ¥80/mo Unicom Boost — traffic doubles to 2TB with gigabit port.

### Need more compute

Choose the ¥200/mo 4C4G — the only multi-core, multi-GB plan in this category, suited for multi-instance or lightweight app hosting.

## How to Choose a Plan

- Unicom users, lowest price: Unicom Preferred (¥48/mo)
- Pure TikTok/ChatGPT outbound: Standard (¥55/mo)
- Unicom users, heavy traffic: Unicom Boost (¥80/mo)
- Need more compute: 4C4G (¥200/mo)

## Conclusion

Unicom users chasing the lowest price should choose the ¥48/mo Unicom Preferred. For pure TikTok/ChatGPT outbound use, choose the ¥55/mo Standard. Unicom users with heavier traffic should choose the ¥80/mo Unicom Boost. Need more compute: choose the ¥200/mo 4C4G. Note: the Unicom-optimized series requires manual BBR installation.
